Mrs. McHardy teaches our sweet kindergarten crew. She has been with CCS for four years. She studied at Landmark College in central Florida and received a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. She is finishing up her tenth year of teaching. When she was fourteen years old, she began tutoring elementary students after school. This is where her love for teaching grew and she felt God tugging at her heart to continue this call. When she is not teaching, she loves spending time with her family, baking, and repurposing old furniture.
I set high expectations for all my students because I believe every child has the potential to reach the stars. I strive to provide a fun and loving environment within the walls of my classroom. We become family and I truly love every student God has blessed my way. Ms. Haven Asnip is our Kindergarten Assistant Teacher. She joined our team in 2023 and has proven to be a real asset to our Kindergarten program. A graduate of Charleston Southern University, Ms. Asnip has a B.A. in English and is currently pursuing her Masters in Christian Education from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
My teaching style centers on Matthew 22:37 and my ultimate goal with all of my students is to encourage in them a love for learning and display that the true goal in our educations is not merely to get the diploma, but truly to love God and serve Him with all our hearts, with all our minds, and with all our souls.
