Dress Down Day

November 7, 2025

There is a dress down day on Friday, November 7. Please follow the guidelines in the Family Handbook. Dress Down Day Guidelines: On occasion, students will have the option to participate in dress down days. On these days, jeans, khakis, capris, skirts, dresses, and casual pants may be worn along with casual shirts, sweaters, or sweatshirts. If students desire to wear shorts, they must wear uniform shorts (gym shorts or Lands’ End khaki shorts). If students desire to wear sweatpants, they may wear the CCS P.E. uniform sweatpants only. Clothing must not have holes or bear any offensive message or image. Tight clothing like spandex, leggings, and yoga pants are not allowed. Spaghetti straps and halter tops are not allowed. Pajamas are not allowed. Hats are not allowed in the building. Students are welcome to ask their teachers for clarification about a specific outfit prior to a dress down day. CCS reserves the right to discipline students for uniform or dress down day violations.

3rd and 4th Grade Field Trip: Cypress Gardens

There is a field trip to Cypress Gardens (3030 Cypress Gardens Rd, Moncks Corner, SC 29461) on Tuesday, November 11 from 9:30am-12:30pm. The classes will be off campus from 8:30am to 1:20pm.

Wednesday, November 12

7th Grade: Top Golf Trip

November 12, 2025 | 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

The 7th grade raised the most money during our Lap-A-Thon, and they’ve earned a special trip to Top Golf on Wednesday, November 12 to celebrate! The party will run from 10:00–12:00, and a bagged lunch will be provided for all students. They will leave campus at 9:30 a.m. and return around 12:30 p.m.

Breakroom Blessings

On Monday, November 17 our Kindergarten-2nd grade families are on deck to fill our breakroom with treats and snacks for our teachers. Breakroom Blessings are such a meaningful way to convey our appreciation to our teachers and staff, and would be impossible without the generous participation of our families. Thank you! Kindergarten- 2nd grade room parents will be reaching out to their classes for donations.
