April 7: Breakroom blessings will be provided by the PTF. A sign up genius will be sent out the Monday prior by Sarah Cates.
Remainder of the year: Snack Cart sign up genius has been working on filling in spots. Feedback has been very positive. Looks like more sweets need to be replenished. Snack Cart will have to be skipped for March 28 due to Grandparents Day celebration.
Looking Ahead
April 14 - 21: Spring Break
May 5 - 9: Teacher Appreciation Week - Ideas presented and discussed.
These are the tentative plans:
- Monday, May 5th: Thank you notes and words of affirmation from students and parents for all faculty and staff.
- Tuesday, May 6th: Lunch provided by Chick Fil A.
- The teachers will have duty free lunch from 11:45am - 12:35pm. Will ask for parent volunteers to help cover lunch and recess for elementary and class for middle school.
- Wednesday, May 7th: Elective, Non Homeroom teachers, and Staff Members Day
- Baskets will be provided for families to bring in gifts for members of the staff and faculty members that do not have homerooms. Ashley Campbell will set up baskets and responsibility for assembling gifts.
- Thursday, May 8th: Car Wash Day
- PTF will send out the link to the venmo account where families can donate to a car wash fund to have a company come in and wash and detail cars as a gift. The logistics may require scheduling to be Wednesday and Thursday to fit everyone in.
- Friday, May 9th: Gift cards or other gifts for teachers
- This will be arranged by the room moms. They may want to check in with the homeroom teacher to see if class supplies are needed or may want to take up a collection versus individual gifts.
Sarah Cates is going to send out an email newsletter twice in April (before and after spring break). This will give parents plenty of time to plan how they may want to help.
May 28: End of Year Celebration
May 29: 8th Grade Graduation
Next PTF Meeting will be on April 10th.

PTF Mission Statement:
Parent Teacher Fellowship is a group of parents that build community within the school by bridging parental involvement with the teachers and staff. This is accomplished through school- wide events, such as our school fundraiser (Lap- A-Thon), classroom parties, teacher appreciation, breakroom blessings for the teachers, and our end of year celebration. We need a LOT of volunteers to make this successful!
